With my very limited knowledge I understand that the Earth is moving around the Sun, the Sun is moving with a galaxy around a black hole. But then after what? Most probably the black holes are moving along with other galaxies. But what if the Earth stopped moving (for whatever reason)? May be the entire gravitational force will go away and Troposphere, Stratosphere & Mesosphere will vanish suddenly and obviously all the biosphere will extinguish. May be the Earth will start rushing towards the Sun and get absorbed in to its belly. Saying so, what will happen if the Sun stops? Where it will go? Cut across the entire galaxy and fall in the black hole? What would happen if any particular galaxy stop moving? Will it collide with other galaxy/ies? What will happen if all the celestial bodies stopped moving together? Everything will start falling? But then where? Will everything will start colliding with each other? Will that create a gigantic black hole? Will that create a mas...
